Both are from flightsim.com and are far superior to the rest of the aircraft I have available to me. The 737-300 is British Airways and the 737-200 is a photorealistic Ryanair.

Both very good. 🙂

I have flown Gatwick to Orly (BA 737-300) and back again this week, as well as Gatwick to Dublin (Ryanair 737-200) this week alone. They take only about 50 minutes each. And with it being Ryanair, your turnaround time need only be about 5 minutes.. just like it is in real life! 🙂

T5- I also have FS2000. Where did you get your 737-200 and -300s from?

Surely the views out of the window at cruise level must make up for some of it?

Theres a quesiton to all pilots…. do you ever get tired of the views? Everytime I fly I spend more time watching the clouds drift by than I do anything else.

My uncle feels like he is on cloud 9. He cant hate the views as he used to be an enviornmentologist;)

No never. I cam back from Hurghada on Friday night with a full moon. The moonlit views of Mont Blanc were simply stunning.

If low cost, repeat until retirement.

Spend the cruise doing the crossword and studying the shapes on page 3 before asking the cabin crew/wife what meals are left over from the galley/kitchen. Wolf the food down so quick it gives you indigestion and hold all your farts in until landing as with only two of you up front it’s just too obvious who dealt the crime.

Now that’s reality!

LMAO 😀

well… I have a PPL but still use FS2002 just for fun…

I fly on www.eskyworld.com, you have to do full IFR, inc flight plans, the lot. Then you sign in, and a real person controls you, from clearence delivery to joining the localiser, and taxiing to the gates, all under full ATC..

Also make some zero vis approaches on the ILS without using autopilot.. very interesting!

OR (one of mine and Wannabe pilots big disagreements here 😉 ) you could got to www.vatsim.net join there and have real people controlling you through the virtual airspace rather than the dodgy microsoft stuff!

Improves the realism by 10000%!

Or you could get projectai! Go to www.projectai.com then go to ‘official files’. Download the installer, then you will see there are lots of airline packages you can download, from all around the world. Once you have the packages you want, you install them quite easily, and then that airline’s routes and aircraft are put into your simulator. They also go by the proper timetables, and so you will get busy and quiet periods at certain airports.

It makes it so much more interesting in several ways. Firstly you have other planes to look at whilst enroute (with the AI labels) and by lookin at the airline and aircraft, you can think about where they might be going. It’s also a lot more interesting when going to take-off, becuase instead of Landmarks’ And Orbit’s, you may have to hold for something such as a BA 757. And finally, it is a lot more interesting when coming into an airport. For example after a flight the other day into Faro, I landed just behind a MyTravel A321, and had to get off the runway for an Easyjet 737 to depart. Other days, the airport can be full with other airlines such as BA, TAP, Fischer and Transavia.

I have downloaded all the airline packages on there, and it makes it so much better! They also go by the ATC, just like the other AI aircraft. Although you will find that the FS ATC may struggle sometimes with all the extra traffic, it is usually fine. A picture I took whilst holding at Dublin yesterday, of a Buzz arriving from Stansted.

the torque links on that tornado undercarriage are back to front……pretty obvious to anyone who knows anything about tornadoes, how can they SELL it when this (and it appears all the versions) are wrong soo fundamentally.

Or alternatively, jump in LAGOs Tornado and fly some circuits at RAF bases, or take it low through the hills. 😀

THen do some checks on your fuel etc. Its only boring with the default aircraft.

E.g. have u tried a flight navigating via the VORs so each time u pass one u enter in the next ?
