FS9 on Vista

Got a new laptop but it’s running on Vista, does anyone know is FS2004 will run on it?

Thanks

Hiya 330

If you get to the point where you have those colours you need to look at the bottom of the window and it’ll say “Open classic appearance properties for more colour options”

Click this and you’ll get a list.

I’m not sure you’ll see a “Windows Vista Aero” option, but whatever it is click “windows vista basic”

Hope this helps

Hi Deano

I’m also getting the same problem as Rob, but a little problem. When I go into color and appearance, how do I select the Vista theme? It just comes up with random colors and if I want it to be transparent.

Thanks

Rob go to your desktop

Right Click
Personalize
Windows Colour & Appearance
Ensure Windows Vista Basic is selected and not Windows Aero.

This “should” sort your problem

Anyone had any experience with B17 Mighty Eighth on Windows 7 64bit? It’s supposed to be compatible, but…………..:(

FS9 works perfectly in Vista, I have been running it on Vista 64bit for over a year with no issues.

It’s 32bit. Just been reading of other peoples experiences of FS9 on Vista, and it’s giving me second thoughts. FSX is out of the question, really is too slow

Yes it will, have you got Vista 64bit or 32bit?
