FS9 uodate

Help,

just installed the update to FS9 and the program just grindes to a halt, all other apps ok just FS9, anybody had the same of know how to cure?.

also, there is a “restore default settings” option (I think on the Dispay options screen). Try restoring the defaults and then re-tweak the settings to your preference. I had significant slowdown problems a while back and restoring default settings solved the problem.

Try uninstalling them then see if it works maybe them causing it.

Did you have the NO-CD patch isntalled?
Did you have any Utilites Installed (not scenery)?

Do you have FSUIPC installed since before? If so, you need to update that module since FS9.1 won’t work otherwise and crash when you start the simulator. You can download FSUIPC 3.40 at http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html.

There are some very good hints and tips about FS9.1 and other things concerning FS2004 at FS2004.com’s forums: http://www.fs2004.com/forums/index.php?act=idx

Dont have that installed, program starts up as normal but when you are flyling it stutters, ie if you select 1 step of flaps it takes around 30 seconds before this happens, any ideas?.
