FS9 v FSX

I’m new to this forum, and thought it would be good to see what you all thought about these two flight sims.

I’ve been using FS since the 98 version, on and off, and really spent a lot of time on FS9, with many add ons to take it well beyond it’s initial package.

So when FSX came along, having read a lot of reviews about performance, decided to take the plunge and bought it. It has taken quite a while to get the settings just right as I don’t have a top of the range pc. But finally feel I have hit the right compromise, and am getting really nice results (must post some screen shots soon).

The only downside I can see at the moment, is the lack of aircraft downloads available, but I’m sure that will only get better over time.

I notice a lot of you are posting screen shots of FS9, so do you have plans to go over to FSX, I can recommend it! 🙂
