Having finally got a (albeit a second hand one) that will play FSX, I have noticed that the default DC3 aircraft has an error in that the engines, incorrectly, rotate in opposite directions but on FS2004 they dont. does anybody know if there is a fix for this?

Yeah I notice various errors in FSX but overall I am pleased with it. Ask Tamas Nemeth . He designs this kind of software and helped me with a problem.
