I cannot understand how FSX places airfields on a plateau. For example, Leeds Bradford is on a hill with a steep drop also the runway runs over the road which is in a tunnel, I know this because I have been there many times. Cardiff airport is on a plateau with sheer cliffs on approch. I have found several other airports with the ame problem.
I hope anyone can help.

It’s fine in my copy. Do you have any addon scenery installed?
