FTS Penhold 1956

My father, who unfortunately passed away two weeks ago, received flight training at Penhold in Canada from February 1956 to September 1956 and I’m looking for pictures from that time. Originally he had 5-6 boxes of slides stashed away, along with other mementos, but it appears that they have been lost in the last 15 years (since I last saw them).

My hope is, that someone here either was, or knows someone who was, stationed on Penhold around the same time. My father’s name was Svend Petersen and his “flying name” was JES. He was from the Danish Air Force.

Following Penhold, he was 4 months at 3th Advanced Flight Training School Gimli, so if anyone have any pictures, or other souvenirs, from there, I would love to get a copy.
