Fuel Additives

Hi,

Can someone tell me about Fuel Additives. i am intrested in Thermal additive JP8+100.

1. For which type of aircrafts is it used?
2. What is the point of injection, is it done in storage tanks or just before skin of aircraft.
3. Is there any settling time.
