A Qantas plane carrying 329 passengers on its way from Sydney to Los Angeles has been forced to return to Australia because of a faulty fuel pump.
The A380 had to divert to Melbourne due to wet weather at Sydney airport.
Passengers were provided with accommodation in Melbourne overnight and will fly to Los Angeles this afternoon

This isn’t the first time the A380 has suffered problems of this sort, is it? I seem to remember one of the first SIA aircraft suffering a similar fault.
