I have had a Fuji S5000 for a while now. I was wondering if there is any significant improvements made to the S5500 or S5600, that would make it worth my while upgrading my camera. Thanks in advance!

The 5600 is supposed to be a significant upgrade to the 5k, which I also have. I’m going to upgrade to it or a 9xxx anyway, asap.

I use the S5000 and it has done me good with almost 300 pics on JP.net and about 30 on A.net. I would like to upgrade to a DSLR, maybe a 350D someday but for the time being, the Fuji works! The only slight problem with it is the focus and shutter time is slow to react and if you are taking a shot of an aircraft landing/taking-off etc. You miss half of it! 😀

Thanks for that. I was wondering if the JPEG compression had been reduced slightly in the later models. It doesn’t seem to be on the S5500, But does anyone know if it has been addressed in the S5600?
