A small prize – Norton Internet Security 2005 – for the best S5000 (or similar camera type) Aviation picture to be posted in this thread, taken this year/season.
Just for fun, but my company will donate the prize.
Once everyone’s finished posting (lets give it two weeks), we can take a vote in another thread.
Any takers? I will discount myself from winning the prize, but I might post one or two just because I want to :diablo:
Remember, only photos taken on a Fuji S5000 (or very similar Non-SLR Digital camera).
Oh, and to add to the difficulty – only pictures of Vintage Aircraft in flight.

Superceded now by the S5500 – it is still a great piece of kit. You can pick up the S5500 for about £220 now.
Froogle for it.

The S5000 certainly has plenty of bang for the buck!

Let Voting Commence
Please vote for your favourite picture from those above, here
Thanks to everyone for their patience, and good luck to everyone.
Don’t vote for me, please – I’m the sponsor.
And if you do, apart from the fact that my head will swell beyond recognition, I will be forced to ignore those votes.
😀

We bought a Minolta Dimage Z1 after Flying Legends, and took it to Old Warden, Chicago, and the Autumn show at Duxford. This is one impressive camera considering the price. 😉

Although I pulled the voting thread, because of my idiotic mistakes – I would like to include Crystal Lakes photo above in the new thread.
If there are no objections, therefore, I am re-opening this thread to others, if they want to post new pictures.
I will also try to find a new way of collecting the votes – so if there are any ideas on that score – lets have ’em.

I stand corrected – the 185 is a much much older design than I thought.

the shutter stops presentation through the viewfinder on these kinds of cameras
It doesn’t on the Olympus range – I have a C-2100UZ myself.
