Vancouver, not Montreal, gotcha! I knew it was some place in Canada.

Vancouver 86 was on the CP Air DC-10.
Quite a classic.
There is the Lufthansa 747 for the Hanover Expo 2000.

No, I wasn’t around in the 1800’s, never heard of it. I thought that expo was in Montreal, in 1986, right?

Greekdude,
An “expo” is a world fair or exposition. Different advances in technology, architecture and fashion and other commercial aspects with amusements and pavilions etc. Last one was Hanover 2000 with the next one being Paris 2004. Have you ever heard of the Great Exhibition in London in the late 1800s?

Has anyone seen the Expo 2005 design on the JAL 767? Hardly funky… more boring! 🙁
Saab, I know of the LH one you are talking about… on the 747, where it looks as if someone has just puked over the back of the fuselage!!! :D:p

The airlines always do a good special livery for the Expos. I can vaguely remember the Lufthansa one for Hannover 00. Nice picture anyway.
