Why don’t Boeing extend the upper deck aft to creat a higher capacity arangement, by doing that they’d be able to sell more because pilots would already be quallified and fully rated on it, wouldn’t they? It would cut down on training costs for a/l’s

I don’t think the 747 will fade out, but it will have to be redeveloped into a higher capacity model to compete with the A380
