Fury's in Iraq 1991 onwards

Okay. I have used the search function on here and Google without much joy.

How many Bagdad Fury’s were extant in Iraq at the start of Gulf War (1991). and how many survived?

I guess the next question is where are they now?

Thanks for those pics.

My Father in Law was stationed at Habbaniya leading up to the Suez Crises. He recalls that a large number of Bagdad Fury’s nosed over on landing as the Iraqi jocks regularly forgot to let the brakes off before touching down. Once broken they didn’t seem bothered about getting them fixed.

The hangars used by the Brits at Habbaniya didn’t contain the pranged Furies so he assumed they were roaded to Shibah. Your pics support his theory.
