Please consider coming along to East Kirkby over the August bank holiday weekend – Lancaster NX611 taxi runs take place on Saturday 23rd and Monday 25th at 13:30 and 16:00. The BBMF will be flying one of their Spitfires on both days.
September 13th will be the Battle of Britain event, with Spitfire and Buchon dogfight. Its hoped pyrotechnics and re-enactors will be included. The Lancaster will taxi at 13:30 and 16:00.

it’s definately worth a visit !, you can’t quite beat the sound of those merlin’s firing up !

Has there been any decision made on wether to fly NX611 or is the jury still out on that one?? LOL
