Fw 190 control grip relic help please

Hi can anyone help please with possible i.d. of an Fw 190 control grip relic that i have just acquired

near complete with firing,radio and bomb release buttons’

has a typed label attached stating as follows

Fw190 0533

ob Tober 42 (this could also read oc tober 42 as in possibly October but space between lettering oc and the t )

So again

Fw190 0533
ob tober 42
Ref re.76.Bry

This was once purchased at Shoreham aero jumble, maybe someone out there of previously sold this item and may have more info
again as usual any help much appreciated.

Cheers Pete thank you for your reply.i feel this could be a tough task. everything is possible.the date 42 confuses it a little.also (Ref.76 ref Bry.)
apparently it was shot down in the Uk.
Always a shame when the history is lost.but i will try and look into your reply

Just a wild guess… but if 0533 was the WNr, it *could* have belonged to:

  • Fw190A-6 – WNr.550533 – 10./JG2 – 100% loss, SE Oud/Roosendaal, Holland on 22-Feb-44 during a combat mission. Shot down during combat with enemy bombers. Flg.Karl Burk MIA [sources: Ring, JG2 loss list, p.21; Charles]

Perhaps the 26th August 1976 was the date it was recovered from a crash site?
