Fw190 lower instrument panel

Hi guys, bit off track with what I,m doing but was wondering if the 190 lower panel is straight or bent at the lower edges to meet the side consoles. And are the instruments a standard size?If so what are they??:D

Dave,
would be interested to know what you have got ‘spare’ too, unfortunately no money to buy anything but always interested to see what’s about.

The bottom panel is a slightly odd thing, being a fuselage frame, and as such rivets to the skin of the fuselage. It is a pressed item, with essentially flange lightening holes forming the instrument holes. A separate panel mounts behind on rubber mounts.

There are several different types of the upper panel – the main difference being the size of the compass.

The germans did standardise to a certain extent, altimeters, ASI’s, some tachos, and ladedruckmesser are the same diameter; then there are smaller pressure gauges that are that same diameter as each other too. On that site you will be able to find the RLM sheets for quite a few of the instruments and this will give you the diameters you need for your panel.

Try here for all your instrument needs, what do you mean by standard size?

Thanks for that.I mean by standard size the holes in the instrument panel..I,m currently building a panel up in CAd and needed the info to finish it.Top panel I have just the outside shape, middle done and bottom one, well the shape is giving me dramas off the info I,m working from.
