What a superb idea, to link “Needs” and “Wants” and to give people real experience

Charlie Fox
Great news, with proper leadership and direction it shouldn’t be too long before Charlie Fox will be back on her wheels and standing proudly outside the old Speke Airport terminal building she visited many times in the past.
Let’s not forget, though, the tremendous amount of work carried out by the Jetstream Club with the Aviation Academy, on Charlie Fox this last 18 months to help get her to the stage she is today.

What a positive move with an aircraft project receiving assistance in this way. No doubt not an easy thing to arrange or to control with all the Health and Safety considerations these days. A real win win situation for all concerned. What a pity that all our major UK aircraft collections cannot use either retired engineers or trainees in this postive manner.

Thank you for the positive comments. Be assured that the persons concened with the G-ANCF task within the Aviation Academy do read this forum and appreciate all that is said. The students involved are all volunteers and hopefully this exercise will instill a sence of pride in our heritage as well as improving their skills for a career as licenced aircraft engineers.
Kindest regards

Excellent news, and I wish them all the success in this venture….
Let’s hope it gets of our younger generation involved with engineering – something frequently highlighted in the media that is lacking.
Well done to all concerned. 🙂
