Does anyone out there have any photographs of Yak 11, G-AYAK from the Mid-70’s (When it was based at Booker with Personal Plane Services). My Father is completing a wooden model of this aircraft and needs reference for the colour scheme and markings.
I have a distant memory of seeing the great Neil Williams fly this aircraft at an air display at Booker, probably 1975 or 76. The Yak 11 was unique in those days as being the only one in the west. I believe the aircraft ended up with Kermit Weeks in Miami, being damaged in Hurricane Andrew (so far) yet to recover.
