The other day whilst at Glasgow got a headsup that Globeys newest 767 would be coming home,, It arrived in the small hours of this morning and was planned to go out on the Sandford Flight , so i was up with the birds , in the cold overcast day we waited and waited and waited
( Maybe its first visit to the UK)
Whilst waiting the following put in an apperance 🙂
Kevin c+c as always
9H-AEN
G-XLAK
TF-FIS
N14115
EC-HKP
Well it was planned out at 0930 , but when i arrived it was on stand 37 a remote stand , about 20mins before departure time it was towed on to Stand 30 and stayed there for 2 and a half hours , 😡 most of the other Graphers had given up and had just left when I heard it calling up for start
Not A great Start to its new life first Flight 2,5 hours late

OD arrived at GSM three weeks ago. This was its first time to the UK.
Was meant to be due in on the Wed night.
Its been in Abu Dahbi receiving checks and trials for before replacing G-CEFG on the Air India runs while it was away for a C check.
Reason for the delay was due to emergency equipment being delivered and fitted onboard, also dressed for its first active flight. All paxs and crew were inform the pervious day of the change.
The tail of the first 767 [G-CDPT] was horrific and will be sent to the same paintshop FG and OD went to as soon as its retured from India. A photo of PT parked next to FG shows the full extent of the difference between the two variations.
Info about the interior
– yet to be fitted with leathers seats to match the other 76s and the 73s.
– 244 config = 24 business/60 Prem/160 Economy.
-As of the 1st Nov, economy will be scrapped and will be an all Prem cabin

Cheers Guys for the comments
Lance you are correct, I had to email a pal down south , and he confirmed that its been to the row twice, strange not to see any shots of it there any where on the web
Raymy , Havent heard any thing, the only one that may be coming in is a HOLA 757 bringing in the team . apart from that nothing yet
Adam , I have to admit its a bit of a struggle just now ,as its the same old suspects at Glasgow and the weather is certainly not helping , if the Globey had not appared I wouldnt have bothered
I think its only Globeys Transatlantic flights were thay have been having problems and the threads on the other forum tend to lead in that direction, I know that one of the reasons for its delayed departure was the lack of a flight plan

Great to see TF-“FIX” actually airborne. Long time since ive seen Spanair at GLA. Dont think theyve done much here this year.
Great pics. Its the GSM 767 tail decails slightly different ? looks more cluttered.
I think that you will find its actually TF-FIS, not FIX , as for the 767 tail , I think its becasue the neos 767 are actuallly a bit barren compared to the reast of Globeys fleet , I will have to check some of my other phots to compare them

I’m pretty sure it’s been into LHR this week operating for Air India, Kevin.
