Apparently not noticed by many but our Forum sponsors have divested themselves of their trademark plane. I wonder if they will obtain another?

I’m just surprised that it lasted so long as an overhead with overall falling circulations etc.

They are a very pretty aircraft -the series 2 really had the power that the Bassett should have had from the start. The numbers that fly are dwindling year on year.

I would guess there are more suitable aircraft for photographs (was it approved for flying with a door off like the Bonanza A36 or Cessna 206?). I’d expect the 206 was more for management transport.

I have a soft spot for the Basset/206, too bad it’s almost extinct.

She was the child of the management. Its far cheap to hire an aircraft to suit the needs of a photoshoot .

I’ve always had a soft spot for the B206. I once chartered on for a flight from Staverton to Leeds Bradford. (and back)

I suspect YP was some sort of sweetener when they were recruiting Ken Delve.
