What a nice ‘gift’ waiting for me at Norwich International this morning ! A brand new AW139, all wrapped up and looking good on a pair of trucks ? Watching the unwrapping and unloading was just like Christmas for a three year old !!
Keith 😀
The convoy is escorted to the appointed place ….
The outer layer is removed to reveal the registration ! getting excited now ??
Strops are attached to the rotor head !! Lots of people with hands firmly in pockets
At last the airframe is lifted a little and the truck moves from underneath it ….
And yes we get to see more of G-PERD … formerly N395SH …
Our latest ‘gift’ is pushed back into the hangar, will it emerge with new colours ??

Nice looking ship.
Hard to believe, but today’s standard helicopter “look” began with the JetRanger about 50 years ago.

Hi Keith
I’m the Marketing & PR Manager at Collett & Sons and wondered if you’d be willing to send me these images to use in our future publicity? I’d really appreciate it and would send you some Collett goodies as a thank you 🙂
Thanks!

Newforest, the airframe wouldn’t fit in the studio with those large whirly things on top ….. so I had to use external lighting rig :D:D:diablo:
Keith.

Why did you put your lighting equipment behind the subject Keith?:D

Well today ‘the wraps are off’ the airframe makes its first appearance in public, looking good in that scheme, which I am told will not be for much longer ??
Sorry about the lighting rig behind the helicopter !!
Keith 🙂

I guarantee that the next Bond helicopter will not be G-PERE but maybe it will be G-PERF? 😀

EGTC Yes it does, thank you, but difficult to understand why it was painted so nicely to be sent from the US to be resprayed, presumably, into Bonds colour scheme ? Has it been used as a demo airframe at an exhibition ???
Keith 🙂
