A glorious day at Abingdon and across the country meant a very, very full aircraft park at G-VFWE’04, with aircraft absolutely everywhere. Stand out particpants were P-51D Jumpin Jaques, the newly restored Miles Hawk and the flypasts by the BBMF!
It must of been a Air Traffic Controllers Nightmare!!!!! 😀

Great to see the Baby Spit looking more accurate – any more of her? 🙂
About those guns – there’s a Bf108/Nord 1002 down in New Zealand fitted with gas-powered guns…! 😀

Some good shots there Airshoworg, especially the BBMF Spitfire. I flew in but bumped into so many chums that I didn’t get time for a proper look round. Did you manage to get any photographs of the Miles “park”. They were hoping for 10 to beat last year’s record but I see that the Speed Six and one of the Geminis were at Shuttleworth. Were you there today as well? I look forward to seeing the results if you were.

The mustang is indeed stunning.

It’s ok, the guns are made from Aluminium and I linked the rounds together so it’s not likely to work
That’s a shame I was hoping she could sort out some of those grotty Spamcans we get over our house 😀

It’s ok, the guns are made from Aluminium and I linked the rounds together so it’s not likely to work, besides which it only has half the fire power of Janie. Now what I can’t see from the photo is whether the wiring is finished yet?

Some lovely pics airshoworguk
That Miles Hawk really is a beautifull thing, much better picture than the one published in Flypast, dare I say. Re JJ. I think I might have to duck next time she flys over my house.

i doubt it. Even if it can fire blanks, think of the cartridges falling. That would be gauranteed to screw up someones day

Could have done with that to dispose of the spam cans parked in front of the crowdline at Kemble Delta Jets Open Day last year!!!
