Gannet XL 500

Work is progressing on the old girl with a lot of the corrosion that was incurred while she was parked outside nearly all removed and being either treated or in some cases replacing the areas. Nearly all the components that have to come out are nearly all out apart from the main bits ie the props and the engines which is proving a little bit difficult to track down the tools. We have had a great deal of help from other parties that have Gannets on display and we are very grateful for this. The aircraft is gaining more and more interest even though we are still in the strip down and inspect stage and we welcome anyone that wants to come and see it.
If anyone can help we need the following tools to proceed with the props because we would like to get these away for overhaul as soon as we can.
The part numbers are:
TL.3094, TL.3674, TL.3827, TL.3829, TL.3831, TL.3832, TL.3833, TL.3861, TL.3866, TL.3867, TL.3870, TL.3870, TL.3872, TL.3874, TL.3996, UM.10210, UM.12256, TL.2277, TL.3138, TL.3551, TL.3876. Its a long list but it may be all in a wooden box somewhere.
Heres hoping

Great to see things are actually progressing.

Can i just reinforce what pagen has suggested, and also add in Gerry Cooper at Sandtoft and the Yorkshire Air Museum as possible sources for tools. Gerry i believe acquired XL502 from Neil Moffat some years ago, and i assume all tools and spares that Neil had built up during her airworthy days. And as she is now at YAM then maybe everything has been passed on there.!

Thanks for the update HFL, I would certainly love to come down and see ‘500 sometime.
I assume you’ve tried FAAM / HF or MoD for tools?
