After reading the heads up here on the board about JT’s 707 due into LGW, I went along to try my luck at catching it.
The weather was nice, however I found the light to be extremely tricky to shoot in yesterday – as you can see in some of the photos, the light is iffy.
JT arrived just over an hour late, but in terms of sunlight, 10 seconds too early! The sun decided to go behind a cloud as he arrived and he himself came in very low and was soon behind the trees!
Anyhow, on with the show.

When getting to Gatwick, the airport was temporarily closed to any traffic due to this incident pictured here – unsure what was going on though.
