This was my first spotting/photgraphy trip for ages, so was nice to be back at an airport! Anyway, here are some photos from yesterday’s action at LGW:

Excellent shots mate! Did you realise that the Ryanair EI-DWH was only delivered 3 days earlier, on the 20th October!.
Thanks Dan. No I hadn’t realised that until you just said. Your aircraft (EI-DAN) was in on Tuesday as well!:)

Nice pics…
Was N707JT there, or has it arrived since – still looked beautiful sat on the ramp at LGW this morning despite the gloom!

Thanks Adam & Steve! 🙂
Is it walkable from the terminal to the end of 08L? Should i bring my walking boots when I next visit gatwick?
It is walkable from the south terminal – i do it every time! It takes around 30 to 45 minutes depending on your pace, although there is a crash gate or two half way where climb out shots of smaller aircraft can be got. There is no pavement of such on the roads up there once you leave the inner perimeter road. There is one section of dual carriageway with a narrow grass area to walk on, plus a little walk through a sometimes muddy path.

Sounds like me Tom, except you did a much better job than me :D, the EK is a stunner. I also like the last BA shot, nice touch with the watermark location 😎 ;).
