Am I right in thinking that Gatwick has a shop in the viewing area? I’ve flown through Gatwick for years but never actually got up on the roof at the South Terminal. So I decided to book myself some time out from the OAT selection and I’m flying to Dublin for the day from Gatwick on the 13th leaving enough time to do some spotting in the morning before I depart.
I’m really interested in getting some World Air Routes DVDs and was basically wondering if I can buy them in the viewing area. Is there a web site for the shop?
Thanks,
Martin

It is there, but it and the cafe next door close at about 2:30 – 3:00ish for some reason. The viewing gallery remains open until about 7:30 I think though.

Yeah I’ve been checking the web site out but they charge quite a lot of postage so I was looking at just finding some in a store.

The Gatwick viewing terrace does have an aviation orientated WHSmith, selling lots of books, some models and I think a few world air routes DVD’s. The DVD’s are best to get off their website though, http://www.worldairroutes.com

I’ve only ever gone through Gatwick outside shopping hours, but it’s definitely there. I think it only opens 9-5 style hours though.
