Attached some photos taken by my father at an airshow late 1950s / early 1960s. Likely to be Gaydon or Cottesmore (probably latter) and there are some interesting types on display, including a B47E (53-1908 – you can see its number in the underwing shot of Vulcan XH503) and a B66 (30500 – ditto), a DC3 and all 3 V-bombers. The shots were taken on a 2½ Sq camera so reproduce quite well.
Try as I might I can’t pin down just where and when this was and wondered if this would be an interesting problem for someone to solve.
Vulcan XH503 is shown and was delivered in December 1958 so this airshow is no earlier than 1959
Victor XA928 was delivered to 10 Sqn May 1958, Victor XA938 to 10 Sqn July 1958.
The shot of F100D 52-2976 shows the unit badge of 79FTS quite well but whats the badge on Stbd nose of the B66?
The airshow was being filmed – note the cameraman on platform in shot of Valiant WP207.
Anyway, hope this of some interest.

Thanks folks and sorry for the tardy reply, I wasn’t keeping an eye on this one. Oh to be able to see these planes at an airshow again!

The badge on the B-66 is of 86 Bomb Squadron 47 Bomb Wing Sculthorpe, the B-47 was from 100 Bomb Wing and the C-47 0.40803 was also from 47 BW Sculthorpe.

Definitely Cottesmore 1959. I have a photograph with XH503 and Victor XH594 in the background, taken pretty much from the same point as your father’s photo. I remember it well, it was at the beginning of my first year at secondary school (1959, I am in school uniform in the picture!)

Looks like Cottesmore, with the parked Victors in the background on the two Victor shots (unless somebody knows differently!)
