Sad news from Serbia. Yesterday, around 0830AM the YU-HEO ditched into shallow lake near city of Zrenjanin, Vojvodina region. The helicopter was on duty (mosquito spraying) when struck the water by skid or spraying equipment. Two onboard escaped with broken leg & minor injuries.

Any air crash is sad news to us here but at least the POB survived to fly another day which improves the news a bit.

Lucky escape there for the crew, so instead of a bird strike, could be a mosquito strike?:D
