I don’t think we’ll be checking in online because we only booked the holiday on saturday so it’s ticket on departure. Great info there, all my queries are answered. Now i just can’t wait until tomorrow! I’ll post a trip report on sunday when I return.

I’ve just got off BA6831 from Arrecife to Manchester last night, operated by GB Airways.

To answer some of your questions, the two aircraft they had based there at the moment are G-TTOD and G-TTOI. Both have full leather seats and IFE in the drop down screens above your head form. However, the one thing that did let them down was that they charge £3.00 to HIRE the headsets, then collect them back in. Most passengers didn’t bother! We had a full length film each way followed by comedy stuff. Not sure what you’ll get on Dubrovnik because of the flight time.

Meals are still being served, and comp drinks. We had proper hot meals both ways (Beef outbound, Chicken inbound), not just pizza. It was a full tray set up served to each passenger. One word of warning… the crew only seem to bother doing one drinks service so ask for everything you want the first time you see them as they won’t come back for the rest of the flight!

The crew were ok, although some seemed a little grumpy. They go mad if any passengers dare venture through the curtain into Club Europe during the flight, so don’t even think about it unless your already booked up front. It was quite embarrasing watching them marching people back out!

T3 at Manchester is a good terminal, no hassles there. Make use of the online check-in if you can, saves a lot time!

I’m flying GB/BA from Manchester to Dubrovnik. The aircraft is an A320-200 I think. Has anyone flown on GB, and if so, what are they like? Do they provide IFE and if so, do you get complimentry headphones? And does anyone know the aircraft (reg) operating the flight?

I’ve flown them 6 times now. I was impressed with them. They serve pizza for lunch, and it’s very tasty – Cheese and Tomato. They have little drop down screens that show you the route of the flight, including Height, speed and outside temperature. Also I recall them having different radio/ music channels, but not IFE.
