Well its been rumoured for a while but it looks like its actualy going to happen. GB Airways to base one A320 at MAN to operate a number of weekly services.
“From May 16, 2005, GB Airways will operate daily flights to Malaga, three weekly flights to Malta, two weekly flights to Paphos, a weekly flight to Funchal and a weekly flight to Tenerife (south).”
Quoted from pprune, although neither GB Airway’s or BA’s sites have anything on yet.
GB Airways is a BA franchise partner, currently based at Gatwick with a number of Heathrow flights, flying A321s and A320s.
