Hello,Im new to this website and made my account solely to ask this question. My intent are to find whether this aircraft really was delivered to LSK (east germany air force), if LSK did received MIG-23MLA did they also receive R-24 which MLA are able to fire with its upgraded radar over ML version.
i found 3 mention of GDR MLA, 2 on a russian forum and one in this forum

Hello sir.
According to the book, Famous Russian Aircraft, ISBN 978-1-91080-931-0 By Mr. Y. Gordon and Mr. D. Komissarov, only MiG-23ML was delivered to the the East German Air Force (Page 525).
The MLA version went primarily to <African and Middle Eastern Air Forces as far as i can read.
