I’m someone who is intrigued by some seemingly uninteresting details. For instance, my Belgium friend, why are you less an European and more a nationalistic Belgium, my obvious question is why. this is the only way I can explain why you have changed your flag into a Belgium one instead of an European one.
Is it Belgium’s independenced position in regards to Iraq?
Is it Belgium less then good intentions towards Sharon?
please help me with this question ;-).
regards,

Married by Elvis ??? Too much work. I figure it would take:
*A shovel
*A couple small blocks of TNT and some blasting caps
*And too much work.
I would think he would smell pretty bad after all this time. Not something you want at a wedding.

RE: GeForce
hence i said “western” world. Where did i say America is excluded from such fallacies? It seems like it is your prejudice that label me against what you perceived what i said. It is sad that one makes a mistake. But, it is by far worse when a mistake is repeated over and over. I sincerely believe in stoping the cycle, but some would insist on saying well you did this and that before. Sorry, i didn’t do that, much like i nor any of my family in the past own slaves (as an example..you can extend it to supporting Iraq or just about anybody else in the past), so no need to make me feel quilty. But, yes, i’m all for bravely confronting that past wrong from the perspective of bringing something better, not from guilt…which i have non (AFAIK).

What’s wrong with being wed by Elvis? It’s actually a life long fantansy of mine. Maybe one of the American friends can help me out here, is it possible to find an Elvis Rabbi?

Vortex.
“Now, I see why the western world have such a high divorce rate….no understanding of commitments, perserverance, and responsibility.”
Is the divorce rate any less in the USA? The country where you can buy a marriage license and be wed by Elvis? Where people go to certain cities to be granted a quick divorce? As America tries to show itself off to the world as a leader it’s hardly the best example is it?
“Let’s screw over somebody…we can always go back…”
Ahh yes. As in let’s support Saddam Hussein, until it no longer suits us, or how about the Iraqi Kurds? Perhaps no-one will notice our lack of committment, perseverance and responsibility…

RE: GeForce
Changing flags as changing favorite sports teams as it suits your preference? If you have faith in “EU” then you don’t need to swap your flags and if you have faith in “Belgium” then you don’t need to swap your flags. Now, I see why the western world have such a high divorce rate….no understanding of commitments, perserverance, and responsibility. Let’s screw over somebody…we can always go back…

I can understand I just respectfully disagree sometimes. Ok, most of the time. That doesn’t mean we are enmities! I love father dearly. Yet, we are complete opposites when it comes to politics? Is it a father and son thing or different generations? I wonder?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 13-02-03 AT 10:53 AM (GMT)]Ì`ll try to explain. At this moment, a European flag is useless. Com`on just look at what is happening today. I`m probably the most pro-European guy on this forum, but I`m still realistic. I would like to change my flag back to the European one (I thinks it looks better than our tricolor), as soon as this crisis is over.
I`m not a nationalist Belgian, I also think our gov`t has did some dangerous things in the past, and the current crisis won`t help us either. But for once, I agree with them. Therefor, I think the Belgian flag is more appropriate than the EU one.
Ohh and I don`t agree with the case against Sharon. They should have picked a better time, not now.
