I don’t think the money is actually necessary, tenthije.
They’ll just call it “deferred consideration”. The EUR 1 will be on BA’s books as a receivable! It will then be written off as being immaterial.

You know the best part about that DBA story:
The guy who has supposed to buy the airline did not have the money! He had to borrow 1 euro from one of the people present at the ceremony!
