Hi guys.
Got a few burning questions that I thought I’d throw into the forum, all light hearted and meant to raise a few giggles. Read on:-
1. Why is abbreviation such a big word ?
2. If a carrot spends all its life under ground…why the ‘ell is it bright orange ?…is it to stop high speed moles from running into it ?
3.Why is there only one Monopolies Commision ?
4.Why dont Sheep shrink when it rains ?
I have a few more but I’ll save them for a rainy day.

Yes I also heard that the carrot was originally ‘off-white’ in colour…and all this cafuffle in the media about genetically modified food nowadays, they’re only a few hundred years out again…what a turnip for the books !

Carrots were originally white, but the colour was changed to orange to make them look more appetising.

Let me add my 2 cents:
1. Why is abbreviation such a big word ? Dunno… let’s abbreviate that word 😉
2. If a carrot spends all its life under ground…why the ‘ell is it bright orange ?…is it to stop high speed moles from running into it ? Because of a substance in it (called carottène in french). Anyway normal moles don’t see much. Maybe high speed ones have other sensors?
3.Why is there only one Monopolies Commision ? Just to be able to discuss themselves, and create other Monopolies… A species always tends to reproduce.
4.Why dont Sheep shrink when it rains ? Coz their hair grow? Naah, because their hair have a sort of grease on it, that protects the hair. But it would be fun to see Sheep the size of Yorksires 😀
Other question: Why asking why??? 😉
