I agree, although I would say that even if the very last Battle-of-Britain pilot was from New Zealand we would certainly regard him as ‘our’ last Battle-of-Britain pilot!

It is absolutely accurate

Accurate from the NZ standpoint but sends the wrong message from the British standpoint on a British Forum.

Dave, I have amended your thread title as seeing just his name I instantly feared it was an obituary. Adding the extra word I hope helps people have a less stressful moment.
