Judging by the shape (allowing for the incrustation) it looks as though it might well be an SC250. On the first photo in the BBC report; the fuse pocket looks to be in the correct position.

As it is recorded as being a 500lb bomb, does that mean it was one of ‘ours’ rather than a German one, or are the weights / metric conversions just approximate?
