I’m looking for the origins of this German compass, a Ludolph FK.5, with marking 14194 (s/n?) on it. Was used in a glider from 1980-recently. Was rumoured to have come from a vintage motorized aircraft, maybe dating back to WW2. I’d like to know if there’s any truth to that. Anyone?
