German Rudder at Auction

I suspect that this is a Vampire/Venom rudder – repainted and being passed off as WW2 German.

It is well painted but no German aircraft in WW2 with this design/shape.

I wonder what an unadulterated Vampire/Venom rudder is worth?

It still sold for £350 plus an additional 29.4% = £455.

….. and the auctioneers cannot even spell Fieseler. If you contrast the ‘object’ in the auctioneer’s catalogue to that which appears at https://c8.alamy.com/compfr/hr2nme/1944-l-allemand-fieseler-storch-f156…, I doubt that many would attribute the provenance of the former to a Fieseler Storch – but one might have found the artist’s model!
