Today we uploaded some photos on our website that were took by the German Press in World War 2.
One of the photos has German aircraft on it, another has a crashed English hunter on it.
If your interested, please take a look,
We will upload more photos at a later time,

Re: AIX
Oh dear….offer a bit of encouragement, then read a thread like that..:(
Sadly have to agree with 382.

Didn’t seem to go down too well on AIX though?
I’m sorry but being enthusiastic is one thing, but going off like a loose cannon when errors are pointed out is likely to achieve the same result on here too….
Surely a degree of thoroughness before advertising the website wouldn’t have taken long?

An excellent initiative by a young enthusiast and helpers (Alex is 13).
I’m sure we’ll wish Alex and his colleauges all the best in this ambitious endeavour 🙂
‘Out of acorns do oak trees grow’ (that’s not a biblical quote AFAIK, just a SFF utterance).

You may want to substitute “fighter” for “hunter”, since it is a more accurate, but less literal translation of “jäger”. My first thought was “Hawker Hunter?”
The photo’s not too clear, but it looks like a Spitfire. I could be wrong. It has happened before.
The shape of the elevators look more like a Defiant, but I could be wrong.:o

Why does your calendar only appear to show Jewish and Canadian holidays??
It shows all holidays, Christian, British, American and canadian, even phases of the moon.
Perhaps this month, there is not much holidays.
