Germany To Withdraw from Euro Fighter Program

With the increasing cost of the European community project and the current recession in Germany due to the after effects of the sept/11 disaster and above all the repeated failures by european compaines to produce a full production model before 31 dec 2002 has resulted in the cancellation of the German contribution to the EuroFigher project.

Germany which is the 2nd largest customer for the 5th generation fighter will also state that a lack of faith in the modal for exports was also a factor.

Germany is expect to make an offical announcement on monday 1st of april.
