Leonard Stern, a prolific writer-producer-director whose credits include The Honeymooners, Get Smart, and McMillan and Wife, has died at 87 Stern died of heart failure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

I was going to write about my favorite Get Smart scene, but I kept remembering more and more of them!
The echo in the Cone of Silence (which Max alone can’t hear).
and
“Not the Craw, the Craw!” A very silly bit of (now politically incorrect) wordplay with the Asian evil doctor known as “the Claw” who was always correcting Max’s pronunciation of his name.
Some fun, silly stuff.
