'Get Some In!' filming location

Does anyone know where the 1978 ‘Get Some In!’ episode ‘Operation Greenfly’ (on ‘an uninhabited Scottish island’) was filmed? Thanks.

Yes watching the filming from what I can remember was a long drawn out process The Wessex helicopter was the 22 Squadron search and rescue helicopter from RAF Valley
Near Holyhead now using the sea king hence (Prince William) been at RAF Valley
I’ve still got all the autographs of the Get some in Actors that came to Cemaes
Somewhere will have to try to find them

Sorry to detract a little more – but does anyone know why Robert Lindsay never mentions this programme when listing his tv series? Is he ashamed of it? I loved it, but couldn’t stand Citizen Smith which always gets a mention.

No, but that series (now available on DVD) always brings back some very vivid memories.

I, too, will be interested to see where it was filmed.

Cpl Marsh (in the series) = Cpl Latcham (in the real). And a few others I guess.

I detract – sorrry.
