Getting nuts.

Yes, it does drive me crazy. 😀

Anyway I am looking for a supplier of the so called thin, 1/4 inch BSF castle nuts. LAS doesn’t have them in their shop so if any of you knows another supplier or has some for sale I would be happy to hear from you.

Cheers, André Jans

Try Ken Ballington either on ebay or his web site, he has all types of aircraft nuts and bolts.

What p/n are you looking for? Are you sure they’re castellated nuts and not slotted (slotted nuts to BS A27 are slightly thinner than castle nuts p/n A27ES as opposed to A27EC) or are they shear nuts to BS A58

I think I have some A27EC or A27ES but can’t check until Monday evening (I might also have some A58ES available.

Quick guide here: http://www.dsgaviation.co.uk/page4.htm

If you need any further help PM me.

Regards

Dave

Sounds like something you readily find on EBAY.

Thanks!. Checked but no luck.

I could make a regular 1/4 inch BSF castle nut thinner but have no idea if my or any inspector will accept.
