.GIF files

I’ve just tried to save some .gif files from the net on my PC for use on one of my websites, but they don’t seem to work, even when I try saving them again as .gifs.

Anyone got any ideas why?

(I bet if I stick one up it’ll bloody work!!)

I have this gnarly avatar that I want to use, that’s animated, but it’s too big for the forum I originally had it on (although it was still accepted – bizarrely!)
