Recently I heard about a woman on board a Lufthansa flight to BRU giving birth to a child. During a discussion on a local radio station someone stated that the child could chose between three nationalities: it’s parents nationality, the nationality of the state the airliner was flying over or the parents’ nationality. Can anyone give me if this is correct, because I think this person got it wrong.

RE: giving birth…on board a 737
Although, I do not know the answer, I understand that if you give birth on a BA flight, then the child is entitled to free flights for life. This used to be the tradition and I wonder if it is continuing in these days of corporate management?
