Can any of the regular spotters at GLA tell me if BAA and the Airport Police have kept to their promise of taking down those Blast Fences yet on the perimiter road

If you mean the hoardings covering the crash gates then no, although there are some mutterings about removing them when the fence needs renewed, whenever that may be?
As for a meeting place, I tend to go around on my own mainly. Unless a “meet” has been requested through the forum.
