GLA Military Transport 11/04/06

Just been told by a work colleague at GLA (I work at LHR) that a grey military transport has just landed there, they are completely unable to describe it and tell me what it is. Any ideas?

An American Army c-23 sherpa
A C-130 which could be from numreous countrys most proberly USA or UK
maybe a RAF C-17.
