GLA to ATH

Also looks like this service will now operate right threw to next April. bookings must be good already.

the flights start and finnish along time before and after the Olympics so the flights are not just for the Olympics. Air Scotland are a scheduled airline

The Olympics could be used as an excuse, if you are originating in GLA and your destination is ATH. However, if you are originating in ATH and your destination is GLA? I tried both ways and it’s basically the same price.

I just did a search for random days in July/August and it came out to a little over 300 Euro round-trip. That’s a little expensive for just airfare on a charter airline, isn’t it?

I’d blame it on the Olympics personally.

I believe it is to point out that Air Scotland is set to fly between Glasgow and Athens. I find it very informative as I am going to check out the website, and I’m not one to go to Charter Airlines websites. I’m going to be in Greece this summer for a month, and if I can hop on one of these flights for cheap, I’ll go to Glasgow for a few days.

Air Scotland only have one aircraft to operate between 3 airports. FlyGlobespan have 5 or 6 aircraft to operate between 3 airports.

Is it just me or are some of Air Scotlands frequencies awful?
Just once a week to Malaga! Globespan is 7 Days a week! Surely they should up the flights (If the demands there), or pull the flight.
1 flight a week offers very little flexibility.

I bet they will change their timetable again before it starts! :p
After all they already have about 5 times!
