Still much slower than it often was… the entry page took about 1 minute to load… as did each other page. I frequently can load each page in 3-5 seconds.

Perhaps its not the server per se, but the overall traffic through the internet routers? As it is now morning in the UK, the trans-Atlantic v-traffic could be a bit stiff, maybe.

No problem Stuart, I knew it had to be something simple. Unfortunately the new board software meant that they first time everyone came back to the site, the “Remember Me” function didn’t “remember me” so you had to remember your username and password. Glad you got there in the end! 🙂

There has been mention that the server is quad core. We are also on v3.7.0 of vbulletin, which has some interesting new features. See if you can spot and use them.

Guys grow up or go elsewhere.

We should be given 24 hrs notice when it is going to be ‘taken down’ either for routine servicing or, as in this case, for a change of servers.
